HALLOWEEN 2009

Yesterday was a BLAST!!! It was Chloe's second Halloween! First we had a Halloween party to go to! There were lots of other kids there to play with and Chloe got to decorate a pumpkin! She wore her ladybug costume the WHOLE time and didnt want to take it off when we left the party!! Then we headed to Chloe's grandparents house, who couldn't wait to take her trick or treating, especially Poppie! Aunt Meghan was there too!!! Chloe acted like a pro when we got to the first house! She waited patiently at the door until someone answered! Life is GREAT and i feel so blessed to have such a great family!! What a great day!! :)

Chloe loves her daddy hats!!

Chloe is one of the few kids that loves wearing hats!! (at least that is what other parents tell me) She has many of her own but also loooves her daddys! She has actually gotten very upset with me when i have taken the hats off her head! She will wear Scotts hats for hours around the house! So cute! Its very funny and i think its great she loves wearing them! She is getting lots of blonde curly hair which i LOVE! Here are some pictures of Chloe wearing her dads hats! :)

Chloe loves to give kisses!

How do you explain to your sweet 1 year old that she cant kiss every random person or object? Chloe loves to give kisses to everything and everyone! Of course i LOVE when she gives me kisses when i ask, but its 10 times better when my little angel runs up to me with her lips puckered out and wants to give me a big kiss without me even asking! Chloe has tried to kiss children at the Dr. office, at the park and at the store. She kisses every animal she sees. This might seem cute but this could be kind of a problem when it comes to germs! :) I am not neurotic when it comes to germs but kissing the sick kids at the Dr. office is just letting it go a little too far! Decided to post just a few pictures of Chloe showing some love!

My Prayer for my precious children!

We have already had a great day this morning! Chloe has been dancing around like always talking up a storm like she knows what she is saying! Its so cute to hear her little voice. So i was sitting on the couch with her and she started playing in my long dress, so i decided to stand up and swing her around! This is kind of hard to explain so i took pictures! She had a blast and was very upset when my back started to hurt and i had to stop! :( I was also checking my emails this morning and saw that my mom had sent me a video of the Christian singing group Sidewalk Prophets. They have an awesome song called The Words I Would Say! The chorus is truly amazing and its going to be my prayer for my precious children!

Chloe's Dr. Appointment- 15 months

Chloe is 15 months old!!! She had her Dr. appointment today! She is 20lbs and 29 1/2 inches long!!! She had so much fun playing with the other kids at the Dr. office! There were a lot of other kids there her age coming in to get their 15 month shots as well so none of them were sick! That was nice because usually when i go, there are lots of sick kiddos who always try to touch Chloe. Oh well, kids will be kids... I am not looking forward to the first time she gets really sick, that wont be fun. Chloe had to get 3 shots today and that was pretty sad... but she was a trooper like always and has been running around all afternoon!

2 of Chloes favorite things to do right now are climbing and writing! She climbs on everything, but mostly loves to climb on her stroller, the toilet, the computer desk and chair! She is soo active and never seems to stop, but when she does she loves to write! She has a pretty serious side and its so cute and funny to watch her hard at work! :)

Patiently waiting for baby JAX!

So i originally set this blog up for Chloe, but there are so many exciting things happening to our family that i wanted to talk about those things as well!! We are expecting our precious baby boy January 11, 2010! I only have about 12 more weeks till i hold him in my arms! The picture on the left is when i was 9 weeks pregnant!! :) The one on the right is me today! yikes! im 28 weeks and getting big!!! :) I know people say every pregnancy is different, well they sure are right! When i was pregnant with Chloe i felt GREAT! My skin was beautiful, i had lots of energy and felt so healthy, well lets just say this little boy has already worn me out, and he is not even here yet! My skin isnt so great, my hair is super oily, ive had everything from constipation to heart burn and acid reflux (never had any of those in my life) I have a feeling this little rascal is going to come out with a full head of hair just like his daddy!! Hopefully thats why i have acid reflux! (thats what ive heard haha) I am just super tired and i think im bigger now than i was with Chloe when i was this far along! OH WELL I know i will lose the weight quickly so im not too worried about it! I lost 20 pounds 2 weeks after i had Chloe, so im hoping that happens again! :) I cant wait till he gets here. What a great day that will be! I will have 2 precious gifts from GOD! We are almost for sure that his name is going to be Jaxson Scott! I love the nick name Jax! Cant wait to meet him!

Chloe 15 months

So yesterday Chloe did the coolest thing! Ok tell me if a one year old should be doing this... we were at my parents house and Chloe picked up toe nail clippers from the table, she bent down and pretended to cut her toenails (she does this often) when she was done she put the clippers back on the table, while she was doing this she knocked off a pen, she picked it up and put it back on the table like she has been picking up after herself her whole life! This just amazed me for some reason... i am around other kids her age and older, they would have just left the pen on the ground and probably would have left the nail clippers on the ground when they were done with them, but not chloe, she is already very organized! It is so much fun watching her learn something new everyday!

I am still teaching her sign language. Chloe knows mommy, daddy, please, thank you, eat, milk, more, and tired! I really need to teach her some more, but i have been so excited about her starting to talk i haven't taught her any more signs yet. We are also working on reading! This is super fun! Chloe has also been able to point to pretty much every part of her little body since she was 10 months! She can point to her head, hair, eyes, nose, teeth, hands, belly button, feet and toes! Her favorite words are mama, dada, shoes and ball, she will say other words when she feels like it! :)

Chloe is the biggest help and i seriously dont know how she understands so well! She can throw away her own diapers and loves to pick up leaves that make there way inside and throws them away for me!! I cant wait until her baby brother is born! I feel so blessed and am having the time of my life being a mom!

Chloe has her 15 month dr. appointment tomorrow! Shots wont be fun but i cant wait to see how tall she is and how much she weighs! LOVING LIFE!
